Coastway nominated for 4 National Hospital Radio Awards


Coastway Hospital Radio for Brighton, which broadcasts 24/7 to the Royal Sussex and Sussex Eye Hospitals in Brighton, has been shortlisted in four categories at this years National Hospital Radio Awards.

The nominations were announced in the early hours of January 1st 2017 by the Hospital Broadcasting Association. Coastway will be competing for gongs in the Best Newcomer, Best Female, Best Specialist Music Programme and Best Special Event categories.

Anthony Martin, Vice Chair of Coastway Hospital Radio, said that the nominations were a mark of how much presenting and producing talent there is at Coastway and they honoured the hard work that all our volunteers have done throughout 2016.

The annual award ceremony will take place in Bolton on the weekend of the 26th March.
