What made you want to join Coastway Hospital Radio in Brighton?
It’s something i’ve always wanted to do, producing my own radio show & just playing music for everyone to enjoy.
What do you like best about Coastway?
The freedom to produce my own radio show, meet others & work in a good environment.
How did you get into presenting?
A friend made inquiries on my behalf regarding radio presenting at coastway. I then went up & met with Kenton Hadley, the then Chairman of Coastway Hospital Radio back in December 2005, who assigned Colin Meagher who trained me to use the equipment.
Who/what are your biggest influence’s?
Listening to Steve Wright in the afternoon, back in the 90’s on BBC Radio 1. My favourite character in the show was the legendary Sid The Manager.
What have been your biggest achievements?
When i started i could not read & write very well, but since i joined Coastway my reading has improved considerably.
Name a key tune you love or inspired you?
The theme music to the 80’s TV series Airwolf. However in my show every week i end the show with my current tune of the week.
What do you do when you are not broadcasting?
I enjoy going to events such as Bus rallies & Emergency 999 days around Britain. Also, Cycling, Walking, Painting my model buses, researching information on the internet. Playing computer games, PS3 & PC, Meeting friends, Travelling, Helping friends fix their computers. Reading now that i can, writing my track list for my radio show, helping friends & family.
