Sponsoring a Programme
Trying to reach a larger audience? Sponsoring a programme on Coastway Hospital Radio For Brighton is a cost-effective and pro-social way to do it!
For as little as £175 a year your company or group will be mentioned three times an hour during the sponsored programme and any repeats, will be featured on our website and on Facebook. You reach a broad spectrum of hospital and Internet listeners, and have the satisfaction of supporting a worthy cause: we raise much-needed revenue.
There are 1,500 beds all connected to Hospedia Channel 1 and on average, a patient’s stay in hospital is three to four days. This constantly changing audience means that we are heard by a large number of people. Coastway is consistently the most popular station with patients. We also attract many listeners to our website, where patients, families and friends can continue to enjoy our programming. The range of programmes we provide includes every genre and type of music and talk media from chat to stories specially recorded for the station.
Would you like to make a donation?
We hope so because as a registered charity, run entirely by volunteers, we need your help and every penny goes directly to help Coastway continue. This ensures that patients have the best experience possible during their stay, and families can stay in touch with requests and/or dedications, as well as commenting on the shows we produce. Every donation is gratefully received.
If you are not able to sponsor a program, donations are also well received. You can give money, or perhaps consider offering something that we could give as a prize in one of our raffles, or other fundraising event – for instance a bottle of wine, a meal to the value of a certain amount, a free something with purchase… anything that people would be willing to offer money to win. Anything you can give (other than the sweater granny knitted you when you were twelve with the sleeves that made you look like a woolly orang-utan) will go to a very good cause.
If you aren’t able to do either, keep listening and enjoying anyway – and get in touch to give us some feedback, we love to hear from you!
